Speaker: Catherine Cabanzon, CRDH, BASDH
Catherine Cabanzon graduated with honors from Palm Beach Community College, with an Associate Degree in Dental Hygiene and a Bachelor of Applied Science in Dental Hygiene from St. Petersburg College. Her extensive background in the profession of dental hygiene includes clinical hygiene in general and periodontal practices, community health program development, publishing of educational articles and videos, grant writing, educator, practice management consultant, dental board examiner, and an educational consultant, key opinion leader, and national speaker for Orapharma Inc., Dental Product Shoppers, Centrix Dental and ZimVie Dental. Her passion for oral health and her desire to serve her community through early prevention and education has brought her to work with national, state, and county leaders.Â
Catherine was appointed to the Florida Board of Dentistry in 2012 and served until 2021. During her service to the Board, she served as Vice-Chair and was the first dental hygienist to serve as the Chair. She was Chair of the Council on Dental Hygiene and the Chair of the Rules Committee.
