PLS is an ADA CERP Recognized Provider (May 2011- June 2021) ADA CERP is a service of the American Dental Association to assist dental professionals in identifying quality providers of continuing dental education. ADA CERP does not approve or endorse individual courses or instructors, nor does it imply acceptance of credit hours by boards of dentistry.
PLS is designated as an approved Provider by the American Academy of Dental Hygiene, Inc. (January – December, 2020) Approval does not imply acceptance by a state or provincial Board of Dentistry.
State regulations vary on the acceptance of CEUs earned from out of state providers as well as CEU’s earned over the internet. Refer to your state’s regulations to determine if CEU’s earned by attending a Professional Learning Services webinar count, in whole or in part, toward your CE requirement.
Effective January, 2020: (PA 19-72) CE regulations for Connecticut now allow RDHs to take all CE online (i.e. webinars) that are CT compliant.
By October 1, 2020, Dental Assistants are required to be D.A.N.B. certified in infection control by the CT Department of Public Health. Dental Assistants are also required to be certified in Radiation, Health and Safety if they are exposing patients to x-rays.
