This presentation on OSHA and infection prevention and control promotes insight for dental professionals and infection prevention coordinators about potential risks and to develop safety strategies and protocols essential for compliance with OSHA and CDC guidelines.

• Develop an effective infection control program that includes written policies, procedures, and practices based on current standards.
• Identify gaps and outdated information in your current protocols.

Ms Turcotte has presented and published articles on dental related topics in several journals. She has recently retired as Professor of Dental Hygiene, Tunxis Community College CT after decades of teaching dental assistant and dental hygiene students. She is the recipient of the prestigious Mabel C. McCarthy award presented by the CT DH Association and the recipient of the ADHA national Teacher of the year award.
